Sugandha Amol Date is a little angle from Nagpur, Maharashtra. She is 8years old. She is one of the Indian Idol Junior contestant who got selected in top 5. She was eliminated from the 3rd theatre round but was re-added as a wild card entry in the first episode of the Gala Round. She wants to be a great playback singer in future. She eliminated as a TOP 5 singer 25th August 2013.
Her father works in the Postal Dept at Nagpur and her mother was a music teacher but quit her work to concentrate on Sugandha's music and studies. She also has an elder brother studying in class 9. She started learning music at very small age of 5 from her mother. She got formal training (light music) at the age of 6 from Shri Anirudh Joshi.
This cute little princess Sugandha is showcasing her singing talent in indian idol junior. Judges Vishal-Shekhar-Shreya were quite impressed by her innocence, talent and "smile". They just couldn't remember any other name while deciding upon one name for the wild card entry.
